Empowering organizations that uplift and support vulnerable girls and young women across Zimbabwe.

Eligibility Criteria

The trustees of Lily of Valleys use the following selection criteria to determine which organizations benefit from the charity’s support. Grants are open to registered charities and voluntary organizations in Zimbabwe that can demonstrate:

A proven history of empowering and supporting vulnerable girls and young women, particularly in rural communities.
Practical support promoting wellbeing, such as providing sanitary items and psychosocial counselling to enable continued education and overall wellbeing.
Initiatives that improve access to education and educational resources for girls in rural areas.

Priority will be given to organizations that also meet the following:

Provide educational access through school uniforms, educational supplies, or psychosocial support to young women and girls facing financial hardship or orphanhood.
Have no legal or safeguarding issues related to financial misuse.
Have proven experience managing donor funds responsibly.
Can provide regular progress and financial reports demonstrating transparent use of grants.
